With over 30 food vendors, dozens of live performances and dazzling art of all mediums, there is truly something for everyone April 3 and 4 at Historic Town Square.

“This festival is one of the ways St. George brings our community together in the heart of downtown,” said Peyton Lee, Community Arts Manager for the City of St. George and St. George Art Festival Director. “We are proud to support local artists, celebrate creativity and provide a free, family-friendly event that residents look forward to year after year.”

On April 3, the festival will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On April 4, it will go from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Lee added, “The excitement is building, as we anticipate this year’s Festival will be the best ever. We hope everyone will want to be a part of this joyful tradition.”

This year, nearly 200 artists from across the country will be in attendance to showcase and sell paintings, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, photography and mixed media.

Prince Duncan-Williams is the featured artist for this year’s festival. Prince was born in Ghana and moved to the U.S. in 1982. His unique style utilizes both African and American/European art traditions with his main influences being Matisse, Picasso and Romare Bearden. Prince creates large-scale, multi-colored silk mosaic pieces that reflect his background and personal style.

In addition to the displays of remarkable artwork, visitors can look forward to two free concerts and live entertainment throughout Town Square. Singers, bands, and dancers will perform live on the Plaza Stage, Woodward Stage and the Greater Zion Main Stage.
