BLM Arizona Strip District monitoring weather conditions closely 

to determine status of 29th Annual California condor release

ST. GEORGE, UTThe Bureau of Land Management Arizona Strip District and our partners are closely monitoring the weather near the 29th Annual California Condor Release due to current rain and lightning in the area to determine the status of the event. The BLM is also in communication with the National Weather Service.    

Everyone is responsible for their own personal safety and should check weather updates to decide if event attendance is right for them:

The BLM encourages the public to stay safe and stay tuned to our social media for any updates, including potential delays or cancelation of the event.   

The public can also join the event online by tuning in to the livestream event. The event livestream will start at 10:30 a.m. MST (Arizona) and will feature pre-recorded videos and live Q&A sessions with members from our teams.
