Art Around the Corner Announces Call for Southern Utah Artists for “I Art”
Community Art Celebration
ST. GEORGE, Utah — The Art Around the Corner Foundation is inviting artists throughout
Southern Utah to submit their work for I Art: A Community Art Celebration, a one-
night event celebrating local art and community on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the
new St. George City Hall at Town Square.
The call is open to Southern Utah artists working across a variety of mediums, including
painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass, mixed media and more. Emerging and
established artists are encouraged to apply, with each artist eligible to submit up to three
pieces for consideration.
Selected artwork will be showcased during I Art, giving artists an opportunity to
introduce their work to community members, collectors, local businesses and supporters
of the arts. Artwork will be available for purchase during the event, with additional
opportunities to support the arts throughout the evening.
Artist applications are due October 9, 2026.
Art Around the Corner will bring artists and the broader Southern Utah community together
for an evening of original artwork, live music, refreshments, a photo booth and
opportunities to experience one of St. George’s newest civic spaces.
The event will also highlight the new St. George City Hall at Town Square, giving attendees
an opportunity to experience the new building while celebrating the artists and public art
that contribute to the cultural identity of the community.
