How to experience the magic of the holiday season at Thunder Junction without a North Pole Express ticket

ST. GEORGE – A magical holiday experience returns to Thunder Junction All-Abilities Park in the form of the North Pole Express with 11 dates in 2024. With dazzling lights, synchronized music, and festive activities, this annual event promises fun for the whole family.

As has been the trend, all tickets have been sold for this year’s North Pole Express. However, there are still opportunities to see the holiday light display and feel the joy of the holiday season at Thunder Junction.

On North Pole Express nights, the park will close to the public at 5 p.m. to provide an exclusive experience for ticket holders. It reopens to the public at 8 p.m., and remains open until 10 p.m. On non-event nights (Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays), visitors can tour the park anytime before the park closes to enjoy synchronized light displays set to festive music.

“The holidays are all about bringing people together. The North Pole Express is such a special way for families to celebrate the season,” said Hannah Keller, Recreation Supervisor for Camps, Programs and Attractions. “The lights, music and holiday atmosphere create unforgettable memories for everyone who visits. We’re thrilled to offer this magical event to our community.”

This year’s highlight is the light display near the park’s entrance, where lights dance to holiday music, adding a unique charm to the experience.

Members of the City’s Parks and Community Services Department arranged the light display.
