All community members are invited to the JustServe, St. George Chamber of Commerce, and Utah Tech University Volunteer Fair being held Monday, September 28th from 3-7 p.m. in the Gardner Ballroom on the campus of Utah Tech University, located at 225 South 700 East, St. George. Parking and entrance to the Volunteer Fair is free.
Walk through the Utah Tech Gardner Center Ballroom to meet over 40 non-profit organizations and look for volunteer service opportunities. You can make a real difference in the community! The Volunteer Fair is where community non-profits, government and interfaith organizations looking for volunteers and donated items meet with community members looking to serve. It will have more than 40 organizations with a table/booth set up so community members can see what kind of help is needed.
Entrance is free, but donations for the Utah Tech Student Pantry are welcome.
Items needed are:
● Shelf-stable food items
● Feminine hygiene products
● Reusable grocery bags
● Individual drinks such as juice, Capri Sun, PowerAde, soda or Gatorade
● Gift cards for nearby grocery, clothing, restaurants
● Individually packaged snack items – chips, fruit cups, nuts, pudding cups, popcorn, granola bars
We encourage the community to attend and visit with each of the organizations to volunteer and help fill the needs of the community non-profits. This is a great place to go to plan activities for individuals, youth or adults!
