ST. GEORGE — Shamrock Junction is set to transform Thunder Junction All Abilities Park into a magical St. Patrick’s Day celebration for children and families on March 14, 16 and 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event provides a fun way to celebrate the holiday with creativity and connection.
“What makes Shamrock Junction unique is that it combines a themed holiday celebration with interactive, hands-on activities in an inclusive park setting,” said Hannah Keller, recreation supervisor for the City of St. George. “Held at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park, the event is designed so children of any ability can participate together.”
Families will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of interactive activities, including:
- Magic Shamrock Show: Prepare to be awed by live performances of tricks and magical surprises.
- Lucky Sprouts Station: Visitors can decorate and take home a pot and plant seed, growing their very own Irish luck.
- Rainbow Railway: Take a ride on the colorfully-decorated train for a cheerful ride around the park.
- Pot of Gold Scavenger Hunt: Uncover hidden treasures at the end of the rainbow using clues scattered throughout the park.
- St. Paddy’s Snack Shack: Enjoy the taste of St. Patrick’s Day with festive treats.
Keller adds, “Watching families explore the park, ride the train and search for the end of the rainbow makes it a really memorable experience for our community.”
The park will be closed to the public during the event. This is a ticketed event with limited availability. Tickets may be purchased here.
