Southern Utah Feed Utah Food Drive Scheduled for Saturday, March 21

Southern Utahns are invited to donate food on Saturday, March 21. Neighborhood food pick ups will be delivered to the local Utah Food Bank’s warehouses.

To donate food in-person on Saturday, March 21, drop off locations are at the Utah Food Bank’s warehouse in St George located at 4416 River Rd. St. George, UT 84790, Hurricane Valley Food Pantry located at 450 E 800th N, Hurricane, Utah, Snow Canyon High School located at 1385 Warrior Way, St. George, UT, participating partner locations, as well as give while you shop at all participating Associated Food Stores locations.

This statewide food and fund drive will help provide food to the estimated 445,000 Utahns who face hunger—many of whom are still struggling to feed their families due to inflation and high housing costs. Even more alarming is that 1 in 5 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal will come from.

When you support this fund drive, your online donation may be doubled—up to a total of $50,000—in the days leading up to and including Saturday, March 21. Note this date is for the southern Utah area. It is different from what you may see posted for Northern Utah.

If you would like to organize a neighborhood food collection, digital flyers are available for participants to download and print. You can also sign up to host a food drive in your community. While pre-printed door hangers will no longer be available for this effort, we hope you’ll continue to support our efforts to Feed Utah!

The most needed items include peanut butter, Mac & Cheese, canned meats (tuna, chicken or beef), SpaghettiOs/Ravioli, chili, canned fruits and boxed meals. Donated items should be commercially packaged (non-glass), non-perishable and nutritious (ideally low-sodium, low sugar).
