ST. GEORGE — Gather your friends and family for a night of modern rock and soul music on May 13, as the Chase Walker Band entertains during the free Concert in the Park, at Vernon Worthen Park at 7:30 p.m.

“We are thrilled to bring the Chase Walker Band to St. George for our May concert,” said Peyton Lee, Community Arts Manager for the City of St. George. “Their unique sound and energetic stage presence is sure to electrify audiences of all ages. It’s going to be a night to remember.”

Chase Walker has accomplished a great deal in his musical career.

●       Walker is a two-time finalist in the prestigious Lee Ritenour Six string theory competition.

●       His songwriting and vocals landed him on NBC’s The Voice.

●       Has been featured in American Blues Scene Magazine as a “Top 10 Artist You Need to Know” and named “Future of Blues Rock – 10 Acts to Watch Under 30” by Blues Rock Review.

●       His second album, “Not Quite Legal” has received International Independent Music Award nominations including Best Blues album and Song of the Year.

About Concert in the Park

Concert in the Park takes place the second Monday of each month from April through September at 7:30 p.m. at Vernon Worthen Park. It is free to the public and sponsored by the City of St. George with funding from the City of St. George RAP Tax, the Utah Division of Arts and Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts.
