Washington, UT – Young artists are invited to get creative at the Youth Weaving Workshop on Wednesday, July 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Washington City Library Community Room, located at 220 N 300 E, Washington, Utah.
Designed for children ages 8–12 and led by fiber artist Doni Pack, this hands-on workshop introduces the basics of weaving in a fun and accessible format. Each participant will receive a cardboard loom, two skeins of yarn, and two plastic needles. Children will leave with their weaving project in progress, their remaining supplies, and easy-to-follow instructions so they can finish their creation—or even start a new one—at home.
Participation is limited to 20 children, and each child must be accompanied by a teen or adult who will assist them during the workshop.
Advance registration is highly recommended due to limited space.
