Utah Arts Academy (UAA) is ecstatic to present the Utah premiere of SIX: The Musical – Teen Edition, from June 6th to 15th. This production is not only one of the first in the country but also represents an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students. Produced by industry veteran Kyle Lewis (AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC), directed by Spencer Williams (For Tonight – Adelphi Theater), with vocal direction by Jeffry Nielsen, and choreography by Scott Watts (2 ONE Productionz), this production promises to be a monumental event.
The cast for SIX The Musical includes: Reese Cummings as Catherine of Aragon, Averi Jackson as Anne Boleyn, Lilly Mae Stover as Jane Seymour, Mazie Clyde as Anna of Cleves, Katie Ellis as Catherine Howard, and Brielle McWillis as Catherine Parr. UAA’s production will also feature four talented understudies: Holland Williams as Catherine of Aragon, Isa Johnson as Anne Boleyn, Ava Snow as Jane Seymour, and Roxie Sparling as Catherine Howard.
UAA has crafted a special summer production with a seasoned West End director, providing students with an incredible opportunity to participate in a show that mirrors the professional standards of Broadway or the West End. With a cast poised to exceed all expectations, Utah Arts Academy’s SIX: The Musical is destined to be the must-see show of the summer in Southern Utah in the beautiful Noah J. Wilson Innovation Lab.
Principal Dr. Drew Williams remarked, “There is immense excitement around SIX. What an unbelievable opportunity for our students and community to engage in such a powerful story that highlights women, as the high school premiere in Utah.”
Six: The Musical, which reimagines the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII as a modern pop concert, has taken the world by storm with its powerful storytelling and catchy music. The School Edition of the musical retains all the charm and energy of the original, adapted to be more accessible for younger performers.
Located two hours north of Las Vegas, Utah Arts Academy, nestled in the stunning landscapes of Southern Utah, is the state’s leading arts high school, renowned for its innovative artistic work and outstanding academics. UAA is a public charter school emphasizing Acting, Commercial Music, Dance, and Visual Arts, attracting students from across Utah and beyond to refine their artistic talents.
Don’t miss this historic and electrifying event.
